Music on VK is no longer interrupted by ad breaks: VKify blocks their network requests, counts every hit, and records it in the log.
Update 1.7.1 is about the small things: a color picker of our own instead of the system dialog, width and offset that change as you drag the slider, video downloads from the modal player, and settings that no longer lurch between sections.
You can now tweak the bass or treble right in the VKontakte player: 10 bands, a preamp, built-in and custom presets. The sound changes on the fly. The release also brings a performance dashboard and column swapping.
Your track resumes from the same second after the page reloads. Every downloader now lives in the “Center” section, heavy tabs are split into subpages, and you can hide the menu items you never use.
VKify can now save VK music as MP3: a single track, a whole album, or your entire library at once — with cover art, tags, and lyrics. Everything shows up in the new download center.
Your favorite VKontakte extension works on Firefox — the same features as Chrome, from a single codebase. The signed build is now available through GitHub Releases.
