VKify 1.8.6: music in motion and interactive wallpapers

Version 1.8.6 adds two new ways to bring VK to life: a music visualizer and interactive web wallpapers. The update also fixes several visible issues in music and messaging.

See your music move

The visualizer reacts to the VK player and renders between your wallpaper and the interface. Nine styles are included: spectrum, wave, bars, orbit, particles, aurora, rings, helix and matrix.

• The live preview works even when no track is playing.
• Color, sensitivity, intensity, size and position can be tuned independently.
• Drag the effect into place, hide it while paused, or reset everything in one click.

Interactive web wallpapers

You can now use an interactive HTML page or a Wallpaper Engine web project as the background. When a project.json sits next to the wallpaper, VKify automatically reads the project controls.

Wallpaper display controls already existed. This release only moves them into the adjacent settings page, keeping wallpaper selection clean and separate from fine tuning.

Fixes and cleanup

• Restored the music download action after VK player markup changes.
• Fixed messaging from community pages when the mini chat is hidden.
• Removed the experimental advertising-flags setting because it did not affect actual ad delivery. The rest of VKify ad blocking remains unchanged.

Open Center → Music, enable the visualizer, and match an effect to your theme.
